What is Yoga Nidra? An introduction to Yoga Nidra and guided meditation with Elizabeth Jensen
Thursday, November 7, 7:00 – 8:30pm
Join Elizabeth Jensen as she teaches the fundamentals of Yoga Nidra and guides us through the practices and a meditation.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation. This particular style of meditation allows you to process emotions in a healthy way, to experience your life to the fullest, and to rewire your brain and life to be present and find peace in the here and now.
During this evening, we will learn about the benefits of Yoga Nidra, including the ten stages and how to use them in practice and everyday living, and conclude in a short guided Yoga Nidra meditation. Please bring pen and paper if you wish to take notes or explore the concepts that will be given. Chairs will be provided but feel free to bring a cushion if you’d prefer for the meditation portion of the evening.
